Thames Valley Gay Chorus
A musical group for gay men and women who want to sing and have fun. Rehearsals every Sunday at 4pm at the South Street Arts Centre. Open to all gay men and women, no audition required!
The chorus offers gay men and women an
opportunity to meet and indulge their passion for singing in a safe
and friendly environment.
The Reading Gay Men's Chorus was formed in June 2003 and
became the Reading Gay Chorus after gay women had been invited to
join the chorus for a series of Xmas Carol Parties in December
2003. This was such a success that it was decided to make the
arrangement permanent.
The Chorus sing
jazz songs, the blues, songs from shows and anything else that
seems like fun to do, with the occasional lyrical tweak to suit a
gay audience.
The Chorus are always
looking for new members and the only requirement is that you are a
gay man or woman and that you want to sing and have fun. There are
no auditions and you do not have to be an experienced singer - you
just need to have the desire to sing with other gay guys and
gals.
