The group is for gay, lesbian and bisexual people under the age of
26, and youngsters unsure about their sexuality.
Run by the council's Youth Service. Supported by the Gay Men's Health Project.
Sylvia Marchment, managing the project says:
"The aim of the group is to provide
a safe, supportive and comfortable place for young gay people to be
themselves, and talk to other gay people."
The group meets 7pm to 9pm on Wednesdays, at a small relaxed venue
close to the centre of Andover. What the group does and how it is
run is up to the participants.
"We want young people to take part in planning what we do - to
tell us what they want. They may want to go ten-pin bowling or
climbing and we can do things like that. We want it to be
fun!"
