The beYOU Helpline is a confidential phone service which aims to provide a wide range of information covering topics as diverse as; ‘coming out’, sexual health, mental health, relationships, domestic abuse, and local information.

Where appropriate we can help people meet other lesbians and gay men, or organise face-to-face meetings at our Thursday night beHERE drop-in sessions.

Although we have diversified our services over the last couple of years, the helpline continues to be our core service.

Statistics 2002–2003

The total number of calls has stabilised, with a slight increase in calls this year. Our new monitoring system allows us to capture more detailed usage statistics than was previously possible.
