Increasingly people are looking to the web for information. As part of our development strategy we have focused on creating a new web site, with information about our core services.

The web site is constantly being updated to match the new services and events on offer. However it does not currently cover focussed information, such as safer sex or local community information. Development of these services has been delayed due to lack of resources and time, but during the coming year we will be tackling the web site and information management as a priority.

Over the last year we have had over 4000 page impressions. We expect this figure to rise dramatically in the coming year.

Our recently launched beCONNECTED service allows local people to communicate with each other in a variety of ways. They can discuss issues, make recommendations, and ask questions using the on-line forums. They can register and create mini-profiles about themselves. They can use the messaging service to communicate directly and privately.

beYOU can use the site to announce events, point users to important information, and get feedback on our services using online polls. We also plan to use this tool to discuss ideas and issues internally with our volunteer members.

The service is new, so no statistics are available yet, however the underlying technology offers flexible ways of reporting usage.
